Not very much. I’m hoping the love story might not be as prominent in the movie, but that’s probably incredibly naive of me! :/
If you didn’t like the books why do you want to see the movie? I would think that they would play up the love story, for the sake of attracting an audience - especially a young one. The books were so violent, they need something to I guess reel in the younger crowd, whose parents may not let their kids go watch something violent.

I’ve heard very good things! Even people that were skeptical of the casting came away convinced of Josh Hutcherson’s performance (until I see him for myself, I will remain disappointed in the casting). The only complaint I saw was of the camera-work. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

In June. It’s too risky to go in spring, when there’s a good chance that it’ll be cold and rainy, because there will be a lot of hiking happening and hopefully some dipping into Loch Ness. :D
Oh, yes, definitely a good choice. I was there in May and it was still cold and rainy and hailing quite often. But we hiked anyway. Not a fun way to hike! But ugh, it’s so beautiful. You’ll take pictures, right? :)
Edinburgh is seriously the most amazing city. I skipped a train back to London that I spent 70£ on just so I could spend one more day there. I want to live there someday! And yeah, I stayed in hostels and it was so cheap!

Hmm, I don’t think it does… it actually reminds me more of the premise of the TV show Pretty Little Liars. It wasn’t the book I thought it was, I thought it was about vampires, but oh well. I thought of reading that one first because it’s the only one that’s a stand-alone, the rest are trilogies, but I’m not so excited about the plot of this one. Too many decisions!

Could be stress-induced. Are you tired and/or have you eaten less than usual today? My teeth used to hurt at the end of a long day at school and work, for a while.
I was really stressed this week, but they’ve been hurting for a few days now and it seems to only be two specific teeth, one on top and one on bottom. I think it’s actually my gums, I’m just not sure how I managed to irritate them. :/

It is very sad! I almost volunteered with the stranding network while I lived on the coast. And all of the samples for my current research come from stranded dolphins. It’s sad, but we can learn so much from the stranded animals!

They’re all there for research purposes! Primarily conservation research, actually. And the whale bones come from stranded animals.
