Seems legit, but WHY do they want your social security number? Did you ask?

The website says for tax purposes. I emailed Getty Images, but the lady that originally emailed me (Jenny) told me that we don’t need to go through Getty, so I wouldn’t need to provide any information like that. But she wants to know what I charge for world-wide use of the photo for one year.

My godmother’s daughter is in advertising in LA, so I’ve left her a message so that I can get her input on all of this. I wouldn’t know what to charge! I was just a silly photo I took on a rainy day back in 2009….
